
Tuli Bull Achieves a South African Record Price
The Tuli Bull, HBH 6-1018, was sold at a new South African record price of R101 00,00 during the 12th production sale held by Mr Russel Clark of Dordrecth (HBH Tuli’s). The buyer was Great Karoo Tuli Stud which belongs to Mr William Biggs of Murraysburg. The auction was presented by CMW and Mr Brandon Leer was the auctioneer. 20 Tuli bulls sold at an average price of R23 100,00. 10 Tuli Open Heifers sold at an average price of R10150,00. The most expensive heifer was sold at R16000,00, also to Mr Biggs. The second highest bull prices of R35 000,00 and R34 000,00 respectively were bought by Alpha & Omega Tuli Stud, which belongs to Messrs. Harm and Alwyn Marx of Burgersdorp.
